Benefit are real.
However, challenges are not spelt out in various papers. For example, problems in cleaning up the machine or the side reactions. Perhaps because that technology is what makes one company more competetive against another.

I have worked with PU reactive extruder. The ingredients reacted inside and during the extrusion. It is a pain andneck operation.
But yes, it provides different type of benefits if the materials are right and you know how to do it.
Nothing is easy. Do not believe what they said about the benefits. It has its own pros and cons.
Nothing is general. It all need to be a special situation for secial case and for special purpose.
Your end application and end performance may dictate the use of "reactive extrution" , if I know what it means..
