TechnoCompound to Supply 60K MT/yr of Long-Glass Fiber PP by 2011

GERMANY -- Seeing the increasing demand coming from the automotive industry from Europe, Germany-based TechnoCompound GmbH intends to expand its range of long-glass fiber polypropylene (LGFP). By mid of 2011, the company shall be supplying LGFP @ 60,000 metric tons per year. The company said that total VOC emissions of its products are lower by as much as 25% than competitive composite materials.
