In the first half of 2011, Budenheim has increased the annual production capacity of Melamine Polyphosphate (MPP) by 250 tons. This was achieved by an optimization of an existing plant at the Budenheim site in La Zaida (Spain). Budenheim now intends to build an additional new plant for the production of Melamine polyphosphate (MPP) with an annual capacity of 3,000 tons.
PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical recently launched the first butadiene plant in Indonesia. The plant is expected to have a capacity of 100,000 tons per year. Emerald Kalama Chemical has started the construction of a new operation to produce K-FLEX® non-phthalate plasticizers and coalescents at its facility in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The new operation is scheduled to be commissioned during the third quarter of 2012. The Rotterdam manufacturing operations are certified to a number of important quality standards, including ISO-9001, ISO-14001, HACCP, and FamiQS.
